    MARTIAN BELLE

    During an initial reconnaissance of Red Planet in 1993, Samantha “Sam” Dooley, granddaughter of VGL pioneer geologist Sam Dooley, found herself caught in a race with three VTV vehicles. Through courage and skill, she destroyed the other vehicles and became the first female VGL pilot to survive virtual world combat. Upon her return, she was awarded the Citation of Merit and given command of her own pod, which she promptly named the MARTIAN BELLE.
